Since its foundation in 1961 GLEITBAU Ges.m.b.H, Salzburg, has developed to one of the leading slipform companies for conical and cylindrical structures, worldwide.

Due to permanent research and development as well as intensive cooperation with the clients Gleitbau- Salzburg was able to improve the conical slipform techniques constantly and to develop new methods of formwork engineering. The special formwork for egg-shaped digester tanks is one example of future-orientated climbing-formwork technique. Patented methods for lifting and lowering „heavy loads“ complete Gleitbau‘s scope of activity.

Internationally, Gleitbau is the first and only slipforming enterprise to be awarded the ISO 9001:2000 Certificate for Quality Management.
