Quality assurance is traditionally an important aspect of SWIETELSKY‘s company philosophy. Therefore, the central laboratory (today the accredited test and control centre) was already established at an early stage: its responsibilities include the development and improvement of construction methods, as well as the ongoing control of building sites and the control of building materials production, expecially asphalt and concrete.

Chronicle

Senator Dipl. Ing. Hellmuth Swietelsky founded the company in 1936. Today SWIETELSKY Baugesellschaft m.b.H. has over 5,000 employees and belongs to the most important companies in the Austrian construction industry. In the financial year 2005/2006, the company had a turnover of approximately 1.1 billion Euro. However, expansion was not and is not the company‘s aim, but rather stable prosperity.
